Introduction and expectations

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Isa Farooqi and I am an EMT, EKG technician, and a Junior at the University of Texas at Dallas. I am studying history on the pre-med track and have a passion for healthcare. In my free time, I enjoy practicing and competing in Jiu Jitsu. As a student and an EMT, I have a unique perspective on the healthcare field and am excited to share my experiences and insights with you on my blog. I am 20 years old and currently living in Dallas, Texas with my wife and our two cats. Thank you for joining me on this journey!

On this blog, I hope to bridge the gap between medicine and the humanities, specifically history and art. As a history major and an EMT, I have a unique perspective on the healthcare field and am excited to use my knowledge of history to connect my experiences as an EMT. Through my writing, I aim to showcase the intersections of medicine, humanities, history, and art and how they can be used to enhance our understanding of healthcare. Additionally, I will be sharing my personal experiences and insights as an EMT, including stories from the field and reflections on the challenges and rewards of the job. Thank you for joining me on this journey as I explore the connections between these diverse yet interconnected fields.

If you have any thoughts or questions about my writing, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I welcome any and all feedback and look forward to connecting with my readers. Thank you again for joining me on this journey!
